L'œuvre est constitué de 200 briques de construction élaborées localement en référence à l'ancien site industriel DMC de la ville de Mulhouse. Détournées en lingot d'or, elles portent le logo de la firme et celui de la ville de provenance. Elles sont signées et numérotées de 1 à 200.
Le projet artistique consiste à présenter l'œuvre à des événements successifs dans la région des 3 frontières (Haut-Rhin.FR, Basel.CH, Weil Am Rhein.DE) et permettre la vente de chaque brique séparément en conservant les coordonnées de l'acquéreur. L'objectif final est d'organiser une exposition lorsque la totalité de l'œuvre sera vendu. La préparation de cet événement consiste à reprendre contact avec les différents acquéreurs en amont, afin qu'ils se présentent le jour J pour contribuer au remontage de l'œuvre, en installant par eux même les morceaux dont ils sont propriétaires.
Eng. "The artwork consists of 200 building bricks produced locally with reference to the former DMC industrial site in Mulhouse. Diverted into gold ingots, they bear the logo of the firm and that of the city of origin. They are signed and numbered from 1 to 200.
The artistic project consists of presenting the work at successive events in the region of the 3 borders (Haut-Rhin.Fr, Basel.Sw, Weil Am Rhein.De) and allowing the sale of each brick separately by keeping the contact details of the 'purchaser. The final objective is to organize an exhibition when the entire work is sold. Preparing for this event consists of reconnecting with the various buyers upstream, so that they can show up on D-Day to help reassemble the work, by installing the pieces they own by themselves."
La série G.O.L.D dont la première œuvre est élaboré en 2017 est une conséquence de l'installation de mon atelier en 2015 dans les friches de l'ancien site industriel DMC de Mulhouse, le long du Rhin supérieur. De par son importance historique qui s'étale de la première révolution industrielle à fin du XXe siècle, le site témoigne des théories économiques et sociales qui marquent le nord de l'Europe pendant cette période.
G.O.L.D fait suite à un ensemble de réflexions face aux reliques d'un passé glorifié et pourtant tinté de luttes et de bouleversements. C'est un projet in-situ qui se nourrit de toutes les spécificités qui font mon environnement de travail. Les aspects culturels, économiques et sociaux qui lui sont attachés sont devenus en soit des médiums qui contribuent à ce projet artistique.

"The G.O.L.D series whose first work was developed in 2017 is a consequence of the installation of my workshop in 2015 in the wasteland of the former industrial site DMC in Mulhouse, along the Upper Rhine. Due to its historical importance which spanned from the first industrial revolution to the end of the 20th century, the site bears witness to the economic and social theories which marked northern Europe during this period.
G.O.L.D follows a series of reflections on the relics of a glorified past, yet tinged with struggles and upheavals. It is an in-situ project that feeds on all the specificities that make up my work environment. The cultural, economic and social aspects which are attached to it have become in themselves mediums which constitute an artistic project."
